Hey everyone! Welcome to my first blog! I guess their are rules to blogging? I should be revealing a little about what’s going on in my life, both professional and personal, right? We’ll see what I come up with.

Blogs have been around for years. I have NEVER written one in my life nor have I really ever read one. I’m used to sharing myself and my thoughts through a microphone, so this is new territory for me.

Things are going great here at Retro Rewind. In addition to being a very popular radio show we are now finding ourselves extremely popular on the web now. We’ve recently launched our internet version of the show and it’s blown up big! Twitter and Facebook have been HUGE for us and word of mouth is proving to be priceless!

Many of the comments and emails we’ve been getting lately have thanked us for “making the work day go quick” or “I’m addicted and hooked on your show!” and finally, “Wow! I haven’t heard this one in years” or ”I forgot about that one!”

We take great pride in our music selection and we take even greater pride in being able to provide you with music that can jog a happy memory or two. You can always send me a RET-quest and chances are we have the song you’re looking for.

Today I did an interview with Blogcritics.org. I’ll let you know when it’s online. On another note Larry and I are looking forward to Thursday. I’m interviewing my friend Kenny Loggins for his upcoming CD on Disney’s new imprint label, Disney Pearl. It’s a family/children’s record and we’re extremely excited about getting behind his latest effort.

Friday’s are when we have our NKOTB BLOCK PARTY! Nothing but NKOTB and solo stuff for 2 hours! Tell your friends! We’re also going to branch out to feature “blocks” of more artists during the week. This is going to be FUN!

On a “bummer” note, I’m temporarily on the outs with a longtime friend of not only mine, but of Retro Rewind’s. It’s a slight misunderstanding but a “clearing” of the air needed to happen. To quote my friend, “time will work it out”.

I hope so indeed.
